[ Well, she's pretty delighted to find this on her doorstep when she comes back from being out. After a bit of observation, she's sort of grasped that Christmas involves presents somehow, but she wasn't expecting to receive anything herself!
Still, the theme of the holiday seems to be gift exchange, so she figures he ought to get something back. The following day, she'll leave something for him on his doorstep, too -- a small bouquet, covered lightly in plastic (to keep the cold out 'til he gets home). Attached is a note:
